BlackBerry has made it has the best smartphone as of yet with the – blackberry Bold 9900 pay as you go but the market has never already been more competitive and various devices still outstrip them
The new BlackBerry Bold 9900 pay as you go is a lovely piece of engineering: that feels solid, highly-priced even, with its metallic rim round the border and its carbon fibre-esque assisting panel. The keyboard will be as good as a natural keyboard can get. The digital camera, the speakers, almost everything impresses and feels right. Turn it on and the intense, bright screen seems to be good as any available, iPhone included, and the touchscreen is responsive.
And the software, model seven for those who continue to keep count of Blackberry mobile phones OS, is rather excellent. It renders website pages with speed along with accuracy, email in addition to BBM is as solid as ever. But in which, in the age of House windows Phone, iOS and Android mobile phone is simply not good enough.
This Bold’s screen may be charming but it is too small to perform justice to everything. Its app save is called App Globe, but BlackBerry’s world, including its share price, can be shrinking fast when compared with its rivals. That would build apps for this platform, when the company’s own PlayBook tablet already uses a new operating system, and every one of its other honest devices are set to try and do the same?
The 9900 works with a 1.2GHz, single-core Snapdragon CPU and possesses 768MB of memory in conjunction with 8GB of hard drive. The effect is to make the software on the device as good as it can be: from an almost imperceptible shutter lag on the camera to the rate with which menus search or documents is usually edited is excellent. Yet that’s not enough either.
